Whether you are an RX-7 owner looking to design your own extinguisher mount; or an Audi R8 owner seeking extra protection from a devestating fire, our universal quick relelase will suit your needs. This is the same mount we include with our vehicle specific extinguisher mounting packages. The mount is designed to be used with a 2.5lb extinguisher, but it can be adapted to other uses (ex:quick release Cheeze Whiz can). In all seriousness securely mounting a fire exitnguisher in the vehicle is critical. In the event of an accident an unsecured fire extinguisher bottle could become a deadly projectile.
