Honda Civic Type-R (FK8) 2-Piece SBG Rotors + Brake Lines Combo

Sakebomb Garage is proud to present the first up-sized OE replacement rotor rings for the Honda Civic Type-R FK8.  Tired of warping stock discs on the track? Want to shed weight and dramatically increase cooling?  These rotors are 2mm thicker than stock rotors, lighter than OEM, directional curved vane (which acts as an air pump to actively cool the disc), and fit perfectly in the stock front Brembos. We've listened to the community and understand with the amount of track days these cars can handle, the brake rotors become a weak point in an otherwise fantastically sorted chassis. We've taken the knowledge and R&D from our successful BBK's in the past on other platforms and wanted to bring that to the Type-R community!

The directional vanes (as opposed to straight vane OEM rotors) act as an air pump to pull cold air from the center of the rotor and expel hot air at the rotors edge.  Directional curved vanes literally expel heat and therefore run cooler than straight vane designs given the same rotor mass.  The rotors in this kit were designed for efficiency and weight reduction to drastically raise the bar for braking capacity while avoiding the deteriments of unsprung weight on handling.

*Brake pads for this caliper are readily available from nearly every pad manufacturer. As pad choice varies greatly depending on personal preference, application, and desired cost, we decided not to include pads to reduce the total cost as one pad obviously does not fit all. BRAKE LINES!

Get the most out of your brake system by replacing your worn out rubber lines. Rubber lines expand outward during braking giving the pedal a "spongy" feel. These stainless steel braided, Teflon lines are the ideal replacement for old cracking rubber lines. Many aftermarket brake lines use bare stainless lines, which allows dirt and debris to become embedded in the lines and degrade them over time. Our lines come with either a red or smoke colored protective outer PVC coating to prevent premature wear. Not to mention the protective coating keeps the lines looking clean!
