SBG FPSpec "Smart Cooler" Oil Cooler System (RX-8)

Introducing the long-awaited SakeBomb Garage "Smart Cooler" cooling systems for the RX-8!  Utilizing our patent-pending 'Smart Cooler' on-board thermostat, allows seamless integration with factory hard lines, makes for an OEM+ installation and much less hassle than our original 'Race' Oil Cooler Kits with a single H pattern thermostat that required running all new soft lines.  The SBG 'Smart Cooler' systems are expandable to dual core setups, and in this configuration (with two independent thermostats) reduces temperature fluctuation seen in a large single thermostat system, as oil can be bypassed back to the motor if the first oil cooler was able to cool sufficiently, or open to pass oil through the second cooler under high load situations!

*For high performance rotary applications seeing higher than 100PSI, such as running 20w50 we recommend upgrading to the Setrab core version, as opposed to the Kraken cores, as they can take much higher sustained pressures. Sustained high pressure 100-130+ PSI is seen on OEM oiling systems when running high performance gear oil such as 20w30 during startup and cold conditions.
